This weekend I made peanut butter cookies. They are one of the easiest recipes to make, and almost everybody will already have the ingredients at home to make these cookies. Unlike my last recipe, these are actually worth your time, and most people will enjoy them.
The recipe for these cookies is from the Better Homes and Gardens cookbook – a classic. I have so many memories of my mom standing at the counter with her Better Homes and Gardens cookbook baking or cooking something. She even had one of these cookbooks when she was young. It was actually the cookbook she learned how to cook and bake out of. So, I decided to pick a classic recipe from the cookbook.
The cookies turned out well though they are pretty hard to mess up. You will just need butter, flour, peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar (which can be substituted for honey), baking soda, baking powder, and an egg, and they only take about 30-40 minutes to make.
I hope you will try and love this classic recipe.
