St. Patrick Catholic School has the pleasure to host a gaming club gathering once a week on Tuesday for 5th-8th grade.
The organizer of the gaming club,Mr. Parker is also one of our preschool teachers. He created the gaming club for a place to go and have a good time playing video games. The club has around twenty people signed up and around ten to fifteen people show up regularly.
They plan on building three more computers to expand the gaming club, and Mr. Parker wants to bring in a VR headset. He would also love to expand the variety of tabletop games in his collection. In order to keep his audience entertained and participating he finds games that the people like to play the best. He will use those games to set up tournaments for the members to play each other in.
He always has four gaming stations set up, Rocket League and Super Smash Bros are always on two of the four stations and the other two stations are always changing by the week. He enjoys playing his favorite game, Overwatch, on his favorite console, a PC, in his free time.
Mr. Parker is a very experienced gamer as he has played video games for over 25 years. He started his gaming adventures in a gameboy color.
