Art and Projects Around the School
Belen L. and Maddie G. search for art inspiration.
Today, we set out to find art throughout the school. In the photos above, the 1st Grade class was working on Valentine’s hearts with things that they like drawn inside. Some other projects that we already found in the art room that were finished were trucks made out of blue, colored construction paper with a painted background, two construction paper bears with yellow and green backgrounds by Landry H. and Sarah L., and a folded beige paper and crayon colored house.
After we left the art room, we went around the school and took pictures of some of the art made by Kindergarten, and the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders. The highlights of what we found in the hallways were mostly winter themed. There were snowmen, made by the Kindergarten class, polar bears, which were made by the 1st graders, and penguins created by the 2nd graders. Two classes, however, were off the winter theme, which were 3rd and 4th. Their art projects were donkeys and candy corn. What an odd mix!
After we photographed the upstairs classrooms, we made our way to the history classroom where we found a leftover 7th Grade pyramid project.
