Loyal’s Board Gaming Column: Fall Games Edition
You Will Fall Into These Game
Welcome to the third installment of Loyal’s Board Gaming Column.
Horrified and Scooby Doo Edition!
Since its Fall I have played lots of Falls games, so I thought I would do a Fall edition. The games that I will be showing are Horrified and Scooby-Doo the Board game. In Horrified there are six monsters: Dracula, Wolf Man, Invisible Man, Mummy, Monster from the Blue Lagoon, Frankenstein, and the Frankenstein Bride and you get to choose 1-4 monsters in the game. Each Monster has a specific power to destroy the town. Now you get to play as the town leaders such as the Professor, the Mayor, the Explorer, the Scientist, the Carrier, the Archaeologist, the Inspector and they each have a specific ability to defeat the monster(s). To defeat the monsters you have to go to a certain location to collect an item that is worth a certain amount and the item is a specific color. With the item you can do the tasks to defeat the monster(s).
The second game is Scooby-Doo the Board Game. In this game you get to be one of the Scooby-Doo characters, which is, Scooby-Doo, Fred, Velma, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne, and Scrappy-Doo. Then you play against the monsters, which are the Ghost Clown, the Green Ghost, and the Creeper. To move around there are movement cards and the lowest number on the cards is the person who goes first and the highest goes last each round. This rule also goes for the monster movement cards. Each character and monster gets a specific power that they can use once in a game. To win the game you have to go to spaces to collect items such as shirts, wrenches, and nets to complete five traps to trap the monster and win.
Both of these games are really neat, so I hope you get a chance to play these games and have fun.
