The Speech Team is made up of students who memorize and practice monologues or duets to perform during their meets.
If the fear of an audience is the only thing keeping you from participating, don’t worry. “Our teammates encourage each other. Even the more shy kids start to open up after playing fun improv games with the older members. Then they begin to feel safe and supported during the nerve-wracking challenge of performing a monologue with all eyes on them,” says Mrs. Greenway.
The Speech Team meets every Thursday. This club is for 6th-8th Grades.
