Welcome to the second installment of Loyal’s Board Game Column.

King of Tokyo edition!

King of Tokyo is a board game where you are a monster and you try to fight to become the King of Tokyo and get 20 points to win. In King of Tokyo the only way you can get attacked is when you’re in Tokyo City, but the advantage of staying in Tokyo City is that you get a point.

In King of Tokyo there are many monsters to choose from. My personal favorites are Meka Dragon and Cyber Tooth. Both characters have really neat powers. Meka Dragon can use powers to do lots of damage. Cyber Tooth has powers to do damage and get lots of points, which helps you win the game.

There are a few expansions for King of Tokyo such as King of New York and King of Tokyo Monster box. In King of New York there are multiple places to get attacked and each place has a certain amount of points. The Monster Box comes with more monsters for the King of Tokyo.

King of Tokyo is a really neat game, so I hope you get a chance to play this game and have fun.
