Teacher Spotlight: Mrs. Natali Keys

Mrs Keys is the 4th and 5th grade teacher for math, science, and religion at our school. She spends her free time snuggling with her new baby Gus. Her favorite food is potatoes cooked any way. Her favorite movie is 10 Things I Hate About You. She loves Easter and her favorite color is green. She also loves to travel and try new food. 

Mrs Keys wanted to be a nurse before she started thinking about teaching.  Two years into nursing school, Mrs Keys had to go shadow at a hospital. At the end of her shift, she decided nursing wasn’t for her. She always loved kids, so she decided to become a teacher.

This past summer, Mrs Keys became a mom to Gus. We asked Mrs Keys if being a parent affected her teaching life. She said she is trying to be more loving and efficient to her students.
