What Football Means to Me

“It’s not the SIZE of the dog in the fight, but the size of the FIGHT in the dog.”

I started football in 7th grade and it just hit me. I love football and it is definitely my favorite sport and I get to show who I really am inside. My brother Patrick was extremely good at football and he was a Division 1 walk-on for Mizzou, and that inspired me to play football. He is now going into the Navy to protect our country. But he has been helping me become a better football player.
All the coaches are cool and stuff but the one coach who really helped me was Coach Lamboth. Coach Lamboth was probably the most strict coach on the team but he was one of the best. He helped so many people become better players and better people. He also was a really cool guy. He was funny most of the time, if he was happy. Coach Chance was the head coach and he was the coolest by far and then there was Coach Trusler, the lineman coach. He is a really cool guy but he can be terrifying when he’s mad.
Our team was really good but the only team we lost to was Camdenton. Camdenton is probably the best football team in our league. I play cornerback. Cornerback is a position where I sit out on the outside and make sure no one gets behind me. My brother Sean is a linebacker and all he really does is just get to the quarterback.

All I really like to do is play football and wrestling. I also like to play video games. I also play chess and listen to music.
