Sire: Connect

Dam: Jazz Tune

Grandsire on Dam’s side: Johannesburg

This three year old colt, sired by Connect, broke his maiden on September 23, 2021 (won his first race) in a maiden special weight (highest quality race for newcomers). Trained by Kennith McPeek and owned by Lucky Seven Stable, Rattle N Roll made his debut on the Kentucky Derby leaderboard with a win in the Claiborne Breeders’ Futurity in October. Currently ranked third with ten points on the Derby leaderboard, Rattle N Roll is only ranked behind Papacap and Epicenter who both have 14 points. His trainer, Kennith McPeek says, “This colt wants even more distance.” (kentuckyderby.com). He has good stamina on his dam’s side which will come in handy during the 1 ¼ mile Kentucky Derby.
