Hi! I’m Rex and I like watching football so I made some predictions for the 2025 NFL Draft!
Pick 1. Tennessee Titans: Qb: Cam Ward; Miami
The Tennessee Titans haven’t had success for the past 3 seasons.
The Titans previously fired Mike Vrabel, and picked Will Levis as their quarterback. Levis has been silent, and hasn’t shown much improvement since he was drafted in 2023. It’s clear that the Titans are looking for his replacement in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft.
The quarterback position isn’t the only problem this team has had. There is a lack of defense and receivers. Though the defense was near bottom in points allowed that doesn’t cover that they were almost top in yards allowed. Soon they will need to fix this but for now they need to find someone to lead their team on the offense.
That is why I predict that the Tennessee Titans with the 1st overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft will select Cam Ward from the University of Miami.
Ward has had a great season and is looking to be a top pick in the draft, and with the situation the Titans are in, Ward would be the perfect selection.
Pick 2. Cleveland Browns: Ot: Will Campbell; LSU
The Cleveland Browns are in a tough situation paying Deshaun Watson a salary of over 70 million dollars, and he hasn’t even had a good season. Jameis Winston, their backup quarterback, was just signed by the New York Giants. However, recently during free agency the Browns have signed Kenny Pickett. Pickett has been a backup for the Super Bowl winning Eagles and though he’s technically a Super Bowl champion, he hasn’t been much of a top quarterback.
The Browns look to have him as their starting quarterback which might work for a year or two but for now they need to focus on the other problems of the team.
One significant problem would be the offensive line. The team has been sacked 66 times, the 2nd highest team sacked this year.
That is why I predict the Cleveland Browns with the 2nd overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft will select Will Campbell from Louisiana State University.
Campbell has been one the best college football players in the nation. His performance at LSU has been phenomenal and will be even better in the NFL. Campbell would help this Browns team and their protection for the quarterback.
Pick 3. New York Giants: Wr/Db: Travis Hunter; Colorado
After drafting Malik Nabers, the New York Giants were yet to see talent from a quarterback for multiple seasons.
Over the recent free agency, the Giants signed two quarterbacks who were Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston. Whether Winston or Wilson is the starting quarterback, it should work out for at least a season.
Another problem would be the defense. The only defensive player with potential is Dexter Lawrence, and the Giants need to add more people like him.
The main problem would be the secondary. The Giants were ranked 8th in passing yards allowed averaging around 210 passing yards per game. It might not be the worst ranking, but they could use some help.
That’s why I predict that the New York Giants with the 3rd overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft will select Travis Hunter from the University of Colorado.
Hunter has been a great prospect for the upcoming draft not to mention the College Football Heisman of 2024. Hunter will make a change on this defense and help the team in their lack of secondary.
Pick 4. New England Patriots: De: Abdul Carter; Penn St.
After drafting Drake Maye, the New England Patriots had one of their worst seasons missing the playoffs for the third time in 4 seasons.
The problem is not Drake Maye, and more the lack of wide receivers, offensive line, and defense. The Patriots have a lot to clean up, but need to start somewhere.
Previously, the Patriots signed Stefon Diggs. Diggs was a great pick-up especially since this team needed a talented receiver. The team now needs to focus on the defense and offensive line. The offensive line has problems but the best way to go would be the defense. The Patriots could definitely use more pressure on the defensive line. The 2025 NFL Draft would be a great opportunity to do just that.
That’s why I predict that the New England Patriots with the 4th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft will select Abdul Carter from the Pennsylvania State University.
Carter is the number one prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft and has looked spectacular in his last season at Penn State. The Patriots will need to improve the offensive line but for now, Abdul Carter will fix the defense.
Pick 5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Dt: Mason Graham; Michigan
The Jacksonville Jaguars have had a top 5 draft pick for three of their past five seasons.
It seems good, but it’s not. This means this Jaguars team lacks improvement despite having new potential from many draft selections.
One of those selections, Trevor Lawrence, has played decent football since he was drafted in 2021. A major problem has been the defense, and the draft selection Travon Walker is yet to show major talent after being one of the top 5 picks.
The Jaguars recently fired coach Doug Peterson, and with the 5th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft I predict the Jacksonville Jaguars will pick Mason Graham from the University of Michigan.
Graham has been outstanding this season for Michigan, and he is yet to make his debut in the NFL. I’m sure he will help this Jaguars defense and will add more pressure on the defensive line. Mason Graham will be aggressive for the 2025 NFL season, and hopefully help this Jaguars team win more football games!
